[Day 6, LE, The Deep Forest] Predatory Nature

[Thaddeus]

"You know, I think our powers would work very well in tandem, mister Thaddeus," Illiam'iira chirps from where she's kneeling. She pops up in a second though, bouncing with each step as she moves to keep poking the dead bear. "We should practice together sometime! I bet we'd make a great team!"

Thad cocks an eyebrow at her words, "Oh really? You have me intrigued Illiam."

"Honestly, I wouldn't mind exploring the forest a bit more, if we could store the beast somehow." he said. "But, I can always come back for that."

Thaddeus holds out his hand to show off his ring. From all appearances, the orb set in the ring contains a raging sandstorm within. "A little extra-planar space I have access to. Plenty big 'nough for our friend there."

[Whisper]

"Alright." he nodded. "That could work. Is that a sandstorm?"

[Illiam'iira]

"Honestly, I wouldn't mind exploring the forest a bit more, if we could store the beast somehow."

"I'd like that too!" Illi grins.

"Oh really? You have me intrigued Illiam."

"Yep!" She scampers over to peek at Thaddeus' cool ring, standing on her tip-toes and leaning into Whisper to do so. "Do we need to do anything beyond just, drag it in there?"

[Thaddeus]

"That it is. Kind of like a little piece of the Elemental Plane of Earth of my own.

'Tis much more hospitable inside than it looks. You two can join me while I take this savager inside if you'd like. Then we can explore the forest here some more. I'm curious what else it has to offer."

[Whisper]

"Ah. I haven't been to Earth." he grinned. Looking around, he said, "Here in the forest, I'd like to talk to one of the trees, at the least."."

[Illiam'iira]

Illi's eyes grow wide as her gaze turns to Whisper. So cool... but she quickly snaps back to reality. "I can help!"

...sure you can, Illiam.

[Thaddeus]

"I've never been myself, just happened upon this really... Have you ever been to Air?" Thaddeus seems to consider something for a moment before speaking up again, "You know, if you wanted to reach out to a Djinni... I might be able to help with that. Havin' a patron's support goes a long way.

But that can be a discussion for another time. We can stow away our kill and then I too would like to see you speak with a tree. If either or both of you are interested, gather 'round and we'll pop in for a moment."

Thad steps up to the savager corpse and waits a moment to see if either is going to join.

[Illiam'iira]

Illi does! She hops to Thaddeus' side, eagerly wiggling as she waits. It's gonna be pretty cool!

[Whisper]

He stood where indicated. "Yes. I once had a thought that I might learn where I really came from."

[Thaddeus]

Thaddeus made a grand show of raising his hand high and then, without any further indication, they suddenly found themselves in a large, circular room. Roughly forty feet wide and twenty feet tall, it was vibrantly decorated. Trophies of all sorts adorned the walls and pedestals throughout the space. Cushions and small tables were spread across the floor creating little pockets of congregation. Next to where they had appeared lay the corpse of the savager.

"Welcome to my vessel. A little sanctuary that has brought me much peace and safety over the years."
