"I suppose...though I'm sure there are others inside the keep who know of her. We don't make it a habit to ask a Drow about their goddesses when they come to the surface and kill and capture our people. It's hard to change that notion if you've never experienced it. Whatever, bring them out we'll let Ulraunt decide what to do with you. Go grab your Underdarkian crew and get out here."

The guards ease up a little, although they do not still drop their guard. Two, in fact, go with you inside of the building to keep a eye on you.

"Right this way then." Thaddeus leads the two guards into the building and back to the bedroom where the others are hidden. Knocking loudly on the door he announces loudly, "It's Thaddeus, we seems to have made a decent first impression. I have two of their guards here with me to escort us to an Ulraunt who will decide if we are trustworthy."

[L'Orr-hui]

The door was slowly opened by the will of the mindflayer to reveal the two drow and themselves, overlooking the situation outside through the window.

They turned slowly towards the Satyr and the two guards

''I am impressed ser Thaddeus. You are truly a master of the spoken word'' the illithid told the satyr before addressing the guards, a hand holding his staff.

''Greetings''

[Illiam'iira]

Illiam'iira is currently kneeling on the floor, hugging Cornelius. (Before Thaddeus had arrived, she'd been dancing with his familiar... and by dancing, I mean she had his little hooves in her hands and was wiggling and giggling in an approximation of dancing. It was mostly to calm her nerves. The air around her's wiggly-squiggly, like heat rising from concrete.)

Gently she scoops up the goat to stand in greeting.

And softly squeak, "Hello."

[Fyne]

Fyne greets them with a wave, "Hey there. Hope we're not putting you out too much." Its clear from the way he speaks that he has an accent from the Sword Coast, and he's definitely surface elf passing and they likely didn't need to say he was a drow. But honesty is always the best policy with academics.

[Thaddeus]

"I find it is less in the words and more in how they are spoken." he thinks back to L'Orr.

Scanning the room, he looks disapprovingly at Cornelius, "Way to stay diligent. What if I needed help and you were busy cuddling?"

[Illiam'iira]

"He would have told us," Illi mumbles guiltily. It is her fault.

[Flession]

The guards simply await your departure of the building, not really sure what to make (or respond) to any of what they're seeing. Their eyes are still more drown to the tall mind flayer than anything, like seeing a incredibly dangerous unicorn.

Honestly unused to not being the scariest thing in a room at any given point in time (well, in Toril anyway), Illi creeps forward to join Thaddeus, still cradling Cornelius. Little goat gets spoiled.

The illithid departs from the room, expression neutral. They did not try to act either way knowing full well they would appear terrifying no matter what.

They took a moment once outside, to let the guards gawk as they please and adjust to the sun.

''Lead on to your superior'' they broadcasted in their minds ''Let's this matter be settled without delay''

When stepping outside, it became clearer that Fyne was drow because his reaction to the sun was clearly discomfort. He had grown up in the Underdark so the sun was a bit stronger. "Could someone put out the sky torch? I prefer moonlight," he quips.
