Turned out, she wasn;t useless at sneaking about- so he looped her into the night's extra earner, and encouraged her to help him shadow some Corcino collections men as they picked through the bins of the Guildhall Ward

Illi flips through it before shaking her head. "These jokes are all terrible, and I've heard some pretty bad ones when Quev's tried cheering me up." She smiles at the memory of one -- what do you call a pile of kittens? A meowntain! "Oh," She pauses to fish something out of the garbage -- a little doll.

"There ya go, good find!"

The Corcino men were singing a sentimental song about some tiefling hanging out under a lamp-post.

Humans were weird.

"Sounds like those berks are gonna be a bit, c'mon, let's check out that bin over there..."

Illi pauses briefly to listen to their singing before following behind Ikkit, careful to keep light on her feet and an ear listening for footsteps. The doll is carefully wrapped in a handkerchief and tucked into a pocket so she can start poking through the bin with him.

"What's the most fun thing you've ever found?" She asks with a little smile in her voice.

"Fun? Prob'ly a pamphlet of chess problems. I'm not very good at 'em yet, but it's nice to try..."

He started rummaging into a bin like an especially well-armed raccoon.

"An' only found that a couple'a days ago."

Oh, chess... her bitter enemy, for being so many choices at once which always seem to be wrong when SHE makes them... not really. But it's cool Ikkit's so into it -- he's always full of surprises, moreso than any little nobleman she's ever met. He'd probably not rub it in her face every time she made the worst move...
