You both slowly regain consciousness in the middle of the road. Any sign of the demons from before are long since gone, the only thing remaining of the experience was the splitting headache you have and the groaning noises to show that you were not the only ones effected by the thing.

"Are you alright?" A small voice asks. Illiam'iira is currently helping people up from where they lay, checking around to see if anyone's been hurt.

Naila opens one eye and winces slightly before the other hesitatingly cracks open.

She slows forces herself into a sitting position, trying to massage away the splitting headache behind her eyes.

"I'll recover. But I appreciate the assistance." She makes a pained nod towards Illiam'iira and Quevlin'e.

"If you're sure," She answers hesitantly. "I can try and relieve any pain you have if you need it. But. Uh. What exactly happened here?" The drow gestures at the group of bodies lying around, unconscious or just now waking.

"Oh no, I am in reasonable physical condition, far more than most in the Hive. It wouldn't be right for me to claim anything that could help one of them more. But it is to your credit Miss. Around here most unconscious folk would be quickly picked clean by whoever arrived next."

With another pained sound she pushes herself to her feet, noting the rather large figure of Quevlin'e continues to keep watch.

"There was a....dretch yes, a minor demon. It was trying to make its way into the void, even if it had to cut in line. Doubtless it was seeking a rather permanent end to its existence. Then a more powerful demon pursued it. The frequency of its wing beat appears to have induced unconsciousness. A rather fascinating affair all things considered."

Nail rolls her shoulders, and readjusts her spectacles, taking a moment to clean any dust off from her fall.

"And then I can assume you both arrived? Did the demons cause trouble elsewhere?"

Fyne rouses, looking around at the others recovering and moving. "Damn chasme. Gross things," he murmurs to himself, checking himself to make sure he didn't get robbed while unconscious. He knew the creature was probably just there to capture the dretch though and probably saw everyone else as just background noise.

"You okay?" he asks Naila, not fully aware yet.

"Oh no, I am in reasonable physical condition, far more than most in the Hive. It wouldn't be right for me to claim anything that could help one of them more. But it is to your credit Miss. Around here most unconscious folk would be quickly picked clean by whoever arrived next."

Illiam's cheeks furiously sparkle as she blushes, which reaches all the way up to the tips of her ears. Not that she would know anything about getting robbed while unconscious.

"We heard a bit of a commotion while we were looking for a soup kitchen that's supposed to be around here. Came on over and found all this then. Been a minute but people are starting to wake now. We've been keeping watch."

"You okay?"

"Are you alright?"

The sound of the other voice as he finally gets his bearings draws his attention. Noticing the crescent moon symbols, he looks her over for a moment. "Corellon or Eilistraee? Or some other plane?" he asks, curious.

"A Chasme, yes, that's the name, rather unpleasant aren't. But I am quite well Mr Fyne. If discombobulated. It seems some helpful cagers arrived at the perfect time to prevent further disaster. I trust you're recovering as well?"

She pauses for a moment, following his questioning of Illiam'iira with interest. Although clearly the words mean much less to her than one raised in most elven cultures.

"Well your timing was impeccable. I would have hated to be pursuing the case of the missing kidney. Not my finest hour I must say. Should have heard it coming half a mile away. But things do have a habit of sneaking up on you in the hive."
