Griffin smiles and slides a glass over before picking up another mug after pouring in some of the house mead before grabbing another mug a before grabbing another one and slamming it into the ground. There's a small fire going on in the side of the tavern from a knocked-over candle, but it seems contained for the moment, with Valer keeping one eye on it to ensure it doesn't burn the whole place down. He does nothing to put it out, however.

"Wonderful performance as always, Sings. Got the crowd going, I'd say."

Fyne orders a pint as well, but it's Lirrax that dips her head in it to take the first drink. The little pseudo dragon being drunk was always a fun time, since he could inhabit her senses and get the benefits of a buzz from a small amount of alcohol and be able to separate his mind to sober up immediately after. One of the many benefits of having such a strong bond with his familiar.

Ikkit crammed his take into the sack he was never far from, then simply cimbed up onto the bar (since if he stood by it, he might as well have been invisible) and held up one index finger.

The barkeep arched an eyebrow, and tapped the countertop.

With an unmistakable scowl, Ikkit dug into his pocket, produced a couple of copper coins, and dropped them at his feet.

The barkeep met the scowl with a bland smile, took the coins, and only then started pouring a short- and watery- beer.

Without a single word spoken aloud, the transaction was completed, and Ikkit turned to sit on the edge of the bar as if it were a bench, facing the room.

The view, containing, as it now did broken furniture, bloodied faces, and a few prone berks being dragged toward the door, had definitely improved.

"Hive's always good fun for a performance," the Aasimar said with a smirk, "And 'least the fights in here tend t'not be as serious. Nothing wrong with a bit of passionate arguing every now and then."

Pay's not as good as elsewhere, though. But she could hardly expect any different.

"Would've brought another performer along, but figured it'd be a little rough on a newcomer, s'pecially one that had the good fortune of getting spat out a portal into the Lady's ward."

She remarked on the drow girl she'd offered a bit of guidance to, then took a big gulp from her glass.

"You're definitely a pro with that instrument. My Dulcimer skills don't really compare," Fyne says as he speaks up. "difference between a pro and an amateur I guess. I need to practice more."

"Why thank you," She said with a friendly smirk, raising her glass to him, "Can't say I've tried one of those before. Ah no, maybe I did, few years back? Think a Sensate gave me a go on theirs once."

She took another swig, before shrugging.

"Well, nothing'll compare to the Syphon I got here of course," she patted the instrument presently slung over her back, "But that's a matter of taste."

"Bandores are a nice instrument. Mine's a bit inconvenient to carry around. Kind of big, so I don't bring it everywhere," he says.

The pseudodragon pops her head out of the tankard and gives the bartender a tiny pseudodragon burp, and a smile that looks predatory by nature of being draconic.

"You write your own songs too? I'm not exactly up to date on the local music," he asks.

Ikkit finished his drink, and started weighing the small tankard in his hand.

The night was young, after all.

"Oh sure, of course," she said, "Some of its my original work, some of its Empyrean. Like that first song. You know, inspired by the celestial harmonies? Every moment in time and space has a harmonic resonance associated with it. Imperceptible to most mortal folk, but its possible to transcribe it in a form folk can hear. S'what I do. Just comes natural, I guess. Folk of my faction say the Empyrean Harmonies can tell you wether you're going up or down the ladder to godhood, if you know how to listen."
