After some time had passed he looks at Akh. "Well, it looks like we're alone this time. Shall we?"

Smiling gently, Akh nodded. "Let's go. A wise man once said that as you gaze into the Abyss, the Abyss also gazes into you. And I bet the two of us look good together."

She produced the Wand of Wonders, flicked her wrist, and the item vanished in a blink.

He smiled as he took Akh's hand into his kissing her gently, "I'll be your sword and your shield. But for now let us be silent as the grave."

The trek back trhough the portal and, into the Abyss is largely the same. The priestess of Kali peers at you through the darkness, tittering softly. The Benelith is nowhere to be seen... And soon you find yourself in front of the Fortress again, assaulted by corpseflies and terrible sounds.

"I have something for you to offer to the nalfeshnee, so that you aren't empty-handed." She revealed the cylinder. "It's the Cylinder of Reconfiguration. The recipient should open it themselves."

Assuming his insight check, as well as his active perception checks deem it safe to do so. He will take the cylinder with a nod then say, "I will attempt to trade this for the dragonling's skull. That's assuming he even bothers to barter with us now that we're by ourselves. If the trade proceeds amicably I will see how much the wand will net us."

He pulls his coat in tighter while adjusting the scarf around his face and swatting away flies.

"If it goes less than amicably," Cyprian winces. "That thing might be our only hope."
