"Alright, alright... how about this, you tell me what you know about him, what you were coming 'ere to look into, that way I know what to skip and which blanks to fill in. Then when I've filled them all in, you can tell me about you, my... brother you said? And mum."
She took a big swig from the new drinks that arrived.
"How's that sound?"

She took a big swig when the drinks came as well. "Sure. Okay. Dad's a controlling butthole. Harrowind or something like that. That's the most I know. Unfortunately, he's also the best chance I have to maybe get some answers for what my faith is keeping from us. Maybe he knows something he won't come to. M--Our brother decided against this plan, but we're not getting anywhere on our own. So, figured I could approach it with the tried and true method of long-lost daughter trying to reconnect to her dad? I knew we had another sibling somewhere, I just, well, expected you to be there...there. Not here. "
She shrugs in a large manner. "After that, I dunno, wing it? Just can't have him be doing all the heavy lifting. But...brother. He's called Zelos of the Ashes. Pretty serious guy, military, sorcerer. Probably won't be thrilled to hear that I left Mt. Celestial without him...or anyone. Hey, worth it. Saved my long, lost sister from turning into a giant toad. Mom...she's...passed on. Good while ago, actually. Out on some plane on some mission helping some people."

She took that all in, parse it real good through her brain-box like. She had two siblings she never knew about! Her mother was dead and she never had a chance to know her. Those were the most important things, of course. And she was silent for a good while after, sorting it all out in her head.
"Zelos of the Ashes huh? Seems like the three of us have a flair for the dramatic when it comes to names," she finally broke the silence, a small melancholic chuckle thrown at the end of it.
"Alright, Sings-With-Purpose ain't actually my real name. S'what I came up with as a stage name so I wouldn't draw attention from the family. My real name..."
She glanced around, making sure there wasn't anybody who looked like they were prying, before continuing.
"...is Eidiya Harrowhart. Father, and the whole rest of the family, half-siblings included, they're all with the Fated. Which, I'm guessing you don't know much about. Sigil's controlled by the factions, y'see. And the Fated, I guess at their best they're about being self-reliant or some such. But there's a reason most cagers call them the Takers, or Heartless instead. Our family, well, they're big higher ups here in the ward. Got their claws in the administrative side of things in the city. Make a lot of jink off a lot of different business ventures both here and across the planes, too. I always figured I was the result of some of that. Like, the family needed some celestial blood in it to give us more of an air of respectability."
A brief swig again.
"But, well, I don't know how it works for you, but there's like this voice in my dreams driving me to be better, and I guess just a general sense of not wanting to be a jerk. So I gravitated toward music, as opposed to business. Then I started hanging out with the Sensates, before finding myself attracted more to the way the Believers were thinking. Then the family tried uhm... well, did some things to try and convert me back to the family creed, and I figured I had to disappear."

"Well, that's great. Father wants you home. So...if I were to go there now, best estimate, I would just be viewed as a replacement for whatever he wanted you for. Great."
There's a loud sigh while the magical aardvark continues to look on with a sense of amusement. "Grear, great, great. You know, I never thought it was be this magical reunion of father and daughter...but he is our dad. Part of me kind of hoped that, once I found him, it'd be...something more....I guess meaningful. Darn it."

"Sorry, yeah I... look, I don't really know what it was all about. Him and mum, me. You. Us, I guess. Until today I didn't even know I had any siblings except my half-ones in the Fated. Maybe there *is* something more to it all than what I'm making it sound like. Never did get any straight answers out of him, after all."
She took a deep breath. "Listen, I've been trying to stay lost for the past while, you know? Last time me and him interacted, it wasn't great. But well, I'm a factioneer now. Got a bit of a name and influence with the Believers, which ought to count for something. I figure, that being the case, and if I let some people know where I am and he knows as much, he won't dare do anything. So..."
Another deep breath.
"...well, if you want to go talk to him, get some answers maybe. Or at least meet him. I can go with you. I figure I owe you as much, being blood and all. And hells, I'd like some answers myself, as well, after all these years."

"That sounds good. I could try inviting our brother too. Maybe sort of have that extra impact and backup. I imagine he'll want to be here for it too." She drinks more of her drink and nods her head. "That way, no second hand knowledge, either. And if he tries anything, he'll hit him with a fireball!"
She laughs and places down the drink. "...no, he wouldn't do that. Maybe."

She chuckled at that, happy to see that her newfound sister at least was nothing like the half-siblings she grew up with. "Sorcerous powers, yeah? Got a bit of that myself going on matter of fact. Not much in the way of fireballing anyone though. I do things more through song for the most part. Empyrean Harmonies and that sort of thing."
"Anyway, you said something about being here to try and figure things out about, what was it... stuff your faith's keeping from you? What's that about, if I may ask?"

"I'm good at what I do, right? Can catch sickness easily. Should be a shoe-in to climb the ranks of the mountain, get more responsibility. Do more good out there. But no, I'm still stuck on the bottom level. I would think it's something like politics, but the excuses keep getting, and pardon my language, stupider. It's just not right that they should keep us down, not without a proper explanation, at least."

She nodded along for a few moments, pretending like she understood. Which she *didn't*. Realizing that it would become awkward if she just kept pretending to understand, she decided that it would be best to just admit it.
"I'm sorry, but I'm not really sure what you're saying. Never been over to that side of the celestial planes, 'member? There's ranks on a mountain?"

"Well, on Mount Celestia, there are seven paths of self-discovery. Such as the Noble Eightfold Path, the Path of Valor, the Path of Renunciation, and the Path of Gnosis. Each one offer you the means of to understand yourself and reach a different layer. Lunia, Mercuria, Venya, Solania, Mertion, Jovar, and Chronias. You're said you're a Believer, right? Sort of like how you try to ascend into Godhood, you need to do certain tasks and go to achieve enlightenment along the way in order to reach the next level. I'm pretty enlightened and self-discovered. So, should go up to Mercuria, right? Nope. Not there yet. Still stuck on Lunia. For the first few times, sure, maybe I need to discover myself more. That's fine, I continue to follow the path. And...I now know I'm there, okay, and yet...nothing."
