"Nah I was always me, in terms of form at least, it's all hazy just because I wasn't actively cognizant of it but I do have vague memories of it. Enough stored information to give instinctual responses to stimuli I guess. When to avoid the bigger thing, when to swallow the smaller thing, that sort of stuff."
As she offers the hand a tendril extends to touch it lightly. Against likely expectation it was not particularly slimy, suggesting a permeable cell wall of some sort perhaps, and was at first warm to the touch. There is a brief moment where there is a slight chill - like the cold depths of water on an otherwise hot day.
From Naila's perspective nothing else seems to change as the tendril withdraws though the blob moving beside her slows slightly in its travel as it is now trying to navigate its physical body from someone else's sight and vantage point.
It doesn't seem to impact their ability to talk in any way however, "Honestly if you
really take a look at the world. Oh, I mean figuratively not literally, given the current situation. But if you really look at it there's a weird number of things that are only about humanoids. It's honestly a little strange. Mostly I don't mind, mind you, since it seems to cover more bad things than good but it's still something I've noticed."
(Invoking Gaze of Two Minds to use Naila's senses, Bob's body is currently Blinded and Deafened, using Actions to maintain concentration for thirty seconds)
