Akh Uur Hoon had known of Ridnir's practice. It was hard not to, being a Dustie of some track record in Sigil, with his backyard piling up with bodies and bones at a steady rate. She had always found him suspicious as the rate of failed medical procedures seemed high, but then he was also an avid community worker and she agreed with him in principle that mundane medicine was at least as crucial as divine curing, so on balance it wasn't easy to wrap one's mind around the idea that he was a foul player. Regardless of all that, however, if the Codex had taken hold of him, the worse spirits of his nature might become unleashed. Or might have.

Regardless of whether her prior companions had time to press on, she decided to talk to Ridnir as soon as possible, before the Codex saga would take another wild turn.

[L'Orr-hui]

L'Orr-hui did have time to press on as the the recovery of the Codex was a very important matter. The illithid could not allow someone to abuse the powers within...doubly so suspecting the nature of the Book's authors.

They had to stop whatever was happening

''How shall we proceed?'' They asked before they entered

"If he's already used the book to launch an attack, he's either barmy or under its influence... and barmy. Either way, with caution will probably be best."

Thaddeus takes out a wand and casts a spell from it once again.

"I'd suggest proceeding amicably. He's a known community worker and his faction and mine are on good terms. If he manifests signs of being too far gone, only then we should switch gears." Still, she didn't protest L'orr-hui's wizarding.

[Thaddeus]

"Regardless of what contributions he may or may not've made in the past. If he was the one who attacked the Festhall on the night of the Bacchanalia, he 'tempted to murder hundreds if not thousands, destroy six hundred years of history and tradition, as well as an untold number of memories and experiences held within." Thaddeus adds with an edge to his voice.

The likelihood that the book and its user were the cause of the attack was coming closer to a certainty and that did not bode well for whoever held the book.

Taking a breath he adds, "I know Factol Montgomery extended her gratitude, but I haven't yet told you both thanks for your contributions in stoppin' that calamity."

Cyprian turned up a tad late to the party. "Good day Thaddeus, L'Orr-hui." Feeling the seriousness in the air he looks at Akh curiously. "I... thought we've just come here to talk to the man, or is that a later meeting?"

The outside of the building does not offer much in terms of hospitality or appearance: the infirmary's made from gray granite blocks, the floors covered in black ceramic tiles smudged with scuff marks. Iron rods bar all the windows, and iron strips reinforce the doors.

Even as a place of salvation to those within the Hive, the feelings the outside of this building offers you is just bleak and dreadful.
