This place isn't the place to have a quiet drink.
Named after the proprietor herself, a human named Griffin, on account her eyes pick up everything that goes on, and her gaze could scare the piss out of any berk foolish enough to catch her ire, the House of the Griffin Tavern caters to the more lowly crowds of Sigil. As a member of the Doomsguard, she openly encourages the brawls that occur almost nightly here, not to mention some of the destruction to her own establishment that often occurs.
To make sure that things don't get too out of hand to make the Hardheads want to get involved , she keeps along a Tiefling named Valer from the Minder’s Guild to keep a eye out in case things get a bit too extreme for her tastes. Though not a formal employee, she has a soft spot for the Tiefling and often gives him free drinks while on duty.
