At the point (as is common occurrence) where I have no idea what the game expects me to do so...

Could we have a rough estimate of how proactive you wish players to be? Both for anything related to the main chaos plot and for players driven side plots.

In other words, should requests to the GM be exceptional, commonplace, or somewhere in between?

Also, is the game designed in that things always happen on a given IC day, meaning there's little interest delving too deep into what's happening as we'll always be hitting a wall? The extreme opposite, where nothing will happen at all if we just wait and see? Some midpoint?

Somewhat common place. This game is supposed to be a "day in the life" game with a few things thrown in, so I am doing my best to use your background and the things you are doing to build events and experiences. I very much expect people to bother the staff to do stuff, so by all means, if there is a personal plotline or objective you want us to explore with your characters, poke us.

Only one thing that has occurred is supposed to occur over time, but that is due to its nature. Every other thread that I have seen can be solved at whatever pace you can achieve it. If you miss something or get lost, what happens is a larger piece gets revealed, so you don't get discouraged...

I'm trying not to tease ya'll or drag stuff along slowly (sans one thing), I swear.
