[ME, D4] Dragon Quest II

A old abandoned inn, a monument of sorts to what the Slags used to be.

Cyprian is vigilantly looking around for anything that looks hostile. I'd also like a lay of the land if possible.

Akh could think quickly enough.

"For as long as I'm singing, please attack nothing. No spells, no swordplay, no hostilities whatsoever -- that means you Quev -- otherwise it will break the spell's hold. Whatever happens, give it time to work."
With that, Illiam'iira will start softly singing in drow.

Magic: Spellsong + Soothing Chant, DC 17 Wis save.
Even if the eyewings succeed their first save, as long as she sings for its duration (1 min) they have to remake the save again each turn.
Illi will designate the other party members as not to be attacked by charmed creatures with her bonus action.

That part of Akh which surely knew stuff about flying eyes was gone.

So she was ready to follow Illi's guidance, spying out a portal.

Besides the crying, flying demon looking things up in the ceiling minding their own business... there does not seem to be anything immediately hostile. Walking along here seems to be quite a chore, however. The goop on the ground requires some coordination on your end to prevent slipping on.

As for the building itself, it seems as if it was once a decent tavern before the few days the devils and demons opened up their respective portals and fought the Blood War inside of Sigil. Few empty rooms here and there to look into, but anything of value looks to be long since destroyed or picked clean.

As for the crying demon bats themselves, Akh knows them to be eyewings, although she doesn't know much about them other than they are demons and demons should always be approached cautiously.

"And... this is where you found the bones Ikkit?" Cyprian is a little wary about looking inside the rooms, as he's terrified of portals at this point.

As she sings Illi will aid Akh in seeking out portals, caaaarefully following her... carefully... while keeping an eye out. If allowed, she'll take Akh's hand, and offer hers for Cyprian, too.

She will wait outside any doors, though. To disappear through a portal could hurt the others.

"Hardly th'worst place I've gotten salvage. Door wasn't locked last time, though..."

He pulled his hat down a little bit, and the hood of his cloak up, and moved along as quietly as a guy having to lead others could manage.

Which in his case, was pretty quietly.

Akh didn't have any fear of portals. She'd already been in some of the worst places, and she was already dead. But not worrying too much about the eywings in the process of collating thieves' marks and telltale signs of dust and debris patterns was certainly helpful. It looked like Drows can charm demons pretty well.

And lo and behold, if there was a portal in some of those deserted rooms or elsewhere in the space, she probably got a hint of it. The key was another matter. She tried to recall if the Cant on the stone mentioned anything helpful on that.
