Yes, let's walk right in the front door.

It worked out so very well for the last group of idiots.

Considering this, her gaze settles on Quev; if she does cast the spell, it should be on him, because he's... not making it up a rope.
Quev will pull out his climbing gear. "I can climb a rope just fine thank you very much."

Akh was no leader. In a situation some of her companions had strong convictions about how to approach the tower, she resigned from further persuasion. She had already presented her reasons for sticking together. Neither devils nor demons were stupid, if they hadn't been storming the tower by climbing, there must have been reasons for it, and she had suggested them too - the undead in the walls. She couldn't fly or fall like a feather. If they wanted to separate and ignore the boons of the Death Truce she could bestow on them, who was she to deadsplain them otherwise? In the end, they were responsible for their lives, and if the fate of those who had died here wasn't a caution enough, nothing probably was. It's not like she had spent her own life wisely, however, or in a good place.

"I'll go through the door." She said quietly to Cyprian.

"I'm with you." Cyprian nodded and followed along. "Let's try to stay quiet at the very least."

OOC: Hopefully we can enter without making stealth checks all around. But if you three want to climb and meet half way to the bottom I've no objections. Tactically it might make the better play.

[OOC: Ikkit is against splitting up. He's a survivor type.

His offer was to lead up tbe wall securing the rope as he went so it'd be easier for the others. His question about flying was more, "that would work even better."

He thinks going through the front door is ludicrously stupid, but not as stupid as splitting up.

Ikkit's player, on the other hand, is feeling like his presence in the thread is rapidly becoming immaterial, since if we start a combat at any point, Day 6 will last until November:P]

The atrium, like previously described, is choked by bodies and the remnants of battle. Two grand staircases lead up from the back of the room, to the second story of the tower, where the infernal laughing can be, at least to the most preceptive, heard.

Akh was good at being quiet. She moved on toward the staircase, alert in more ways than one - listening to background whispers, paying attention to any possible marks on their path and the walls. The cackle might have been the nalfeshnee's.

Ikkit was likewise very, very quiet.

Cyprian kept point on the way inside the structure. Only once he knows the floor is secure would he begin to take a closer look around to see what's what. Once everyone gathers and meets he'll begin moving up the landing.

OOC: I agree with Ikkit haha. Let's get this party started - Cyprian will lead the way up the landing once everyone else checks in. That way if there's invisible stuff to see he can coordinate it to the party. :)

I believe he still has advantage on stealth checks thanks to Illi. If not he'll cast cloak of shadows.

Skulking up the steps you come into what appears to be a court of sorts. Long heavy tables made from bone stretch at the sides of the vast room, someone's piled remains of fiends and mortals on tarnished silver platters, in the grotesque imitation of a grand feast.

At the very end of the court is a throne, made from strange white trees that appear all to be in bloom, green and sickly red flowers dot the throne in chaotic throngs.

On the throne sits a giant human, dressed in black robes and holding a reptilian looking skull in his hands. He is beautiful, in the way a gemstone might be, cold and reflective. He has hair of ebony and skin of bronze. He appears to be chuckling at the skull, and for the moment, does not seem to notice you.
