The keep, I suspect, is filled with male and female researchers who ever meet only the same few people and are probably dying for entertainment. If you want a public, you have one''

[Thaddeus]

"I'll do my part. Provide some entertainment, some temptation, some distraction. If I don't get a chance to explore on my own this time, I'll just have to make sure we'll be welcomed back for another."

[Fyne]

"Let's go," Fyne says with a nod. "We'll see what their library has in the way of answers."

[L'Orr-hui]

They raised the crystal towards the hidden gate

''Oh, you'll have time to explore. I was simply leaving you aware of all possibilities''

[Illiam'iira]

"Wait!"

Tiny legs scamper towards the group and Illi stops, sliding a bit on the floor before she catches herself. With a little eek! she stands up straight.

Oooh she already feels like she's gonna regret this somehow. At least she didn't miss them. "Sorry, I got a little lost on my way here," She murmurs softly.

[Thaddeus]

"Miss Illiam, I didn't hear from you this mornin' so I didn't know if you'd make it." He turns to the other two. "This is Miss Illiam'iira, she expressed an interest in traveling with us."

[Illiam'iira]

"This is Miss Illiam'iira, she expressed an interest in traveling with us."

"Oh, uhm, I know Fyne," She says with a little smile as she glances his way.

[L'Orr-hui]

L'Orr-hui did not seem to reach in any discernable way except for the arching of an eyebrow

''Very well''

They then turned back to the portal to activate the key the way they were shown. As the portal began to activate the illithid appeared to have been jolted by an unkown force.

[Flession]

The green light from the gate begins to shift around you and the path becomes clear a few moments later. Sure enough, those gems from that shop owner did the trick.

The portal remains open to you, but not for terribly long.

[Thaddeus]

Eager and inquisitive, Thaddeus steps through the portal first. If they were to be met on the other side, it was his responsibility to mollify the locals and secure their safe passage.
