There are new corpses sewn into the tower. Some of them seem familiar to you. The Doors still stand ajar, but there are no longer corpses blocking it. Almost inviting, really...

There was trickery, no doubt, but the nature of it might have been better understood if she knew why those corpses looked familiar.

"So," he whispered, "shall we proceed as expected?"

Some of them were the detritus and casualties you encountered last time you were here.

[Akh Uur Hoon]

"Yes. Though if you have some bardic or other ways to make both of us more convincing, now is the time."

[Cyprian Kircheis]

"Hmmm," He presses her hand, "Just one thing." He leans in and whispers in her ear, "Even in this fetid, icy hellscape you keep me hot and bothered. Let's deal with this quickly then get home and deal with that slowly."

He winks then takes point into the keep.

He changes up the DEX boost to a CHA boost and gives Akh a 1d10 inspiration.

**Meant to type it earlier but he'll identify the Cylinder before entering the keep. Ideally he did it after receiving the thing.**

The inside of the tower have been cleaned up too, though something about the decoration feels... Put on. Trying too hard. The Nalfeshnee awaits you in the same place, in it's true form. It is holding a small ancient goblin aloft in one hand. The goblin is dressed in a black robe and holds a comically oversized quarterstaff in it's hands. The Nalfeshnee throws it away, at the wall next to him, once you enter.

"Ahh... My illustrious guests... Well..."

It leans forward, hellfire leaking from it's mouth like drool, pouring onto it's lap.

"What have you for me?"

"Wondrous tools for you to create with." Akh curtsied, then looked at Cyprian.

Cyprian watched the scene unfold with a comical expression. Once acknowledged he'll give a courtly bow employing every ounce of charm at his disposal.

"Most esteemed one, have I a tale to tell!" Cyprian makes his way towards the Nalfeshnee once bid to do so. At an acceptable distance he'll produce the cylinder, "THIS lord, this is the great culmination of our efforts!" He holds the object up with reverence. "Working in tandem with an appraiser. We started with several auction houses, made our way through the market, spoke with collectors. But none of them even came close to presenting objects worthy of your lordship." He grins, "This venerable object contains within it the power of 'Reconfiguration.' And believe me when I say it cost a fortune."

He'll either hand the cylinder to a servant, or hand it to the Nalfeshnee directly.

"I don't know precisely how it works, but I do know that the Factor Skall valued it highly, and the leader of the Dustmen's rival guild, the Sensates, are most unpleased with its loss." He beamed.

[Akh Uur Hoon]

"No petty mind shall unlock it, however. Only one of exquisite brilliance. Hence we have found it a fitting item for this occasion and purpose. However, if the powers revealed by opening it are not to your satisfaction, I have another offering to make up for it, the Wand of Wonders, to be conjured here once you have tested the cylinder's potential."
