Illiam'iira frets as she sits on the room's desk waiting. She's no idea who will turn up and who will ignore her invitation, and that makes her nervous. The longer this goes on the more her nerves will fray and by the gods does she not want to be a mess in Sigil of all places...

On the blackboards behind her are written:

Where is the book?

Ikkit, in keeping with his sleep schedule, disposition, and inclinations, had grumbled a few unkind words on being handed a note while he'd been trading three dead rats for a cooked one, but...

Well.

It wasn't as if he had enough friends to leave them hanging if they wanted his help.

But by all of the Powers and by the Lady's thorny headdress, he was not happy to be back at the Sensates' monument to their own hypocrisy so soon.

So Illi no doubt heard his approach, involving as it did surly muttering, snarled discourtesies, and at one point what sounded a great deal like his teeth snapping at someone or something.

He looked into the room, saw just how many people were evidently expected to show up, and immediately laid his ears back.

He still came in, though.

Thaddeus comes in carrying a large platter of assorted foods, leftovers that hadn't even made it to the party the night before. "Come! It is never good to work on an empty stomach."

Setting the platter down on a table he turns back to the door, "I'll be back with some drinks."

''For the sake of the present company we will have to make an exception to this rule, ser Thaddeus''
came as a voice in their minds, heralding the arrival of a known interested party

Illi lets out a sigh she didn't know she was holding when she sees Ikkit, her body relaxing just a little as she waves to him. "Hey!" There's a very soft "thank you" with both her voice and her gaze. Oh thank goodness. Her relief grows even more palpable when Thaddeus walks in with snacks.

"Good, uh, good morning!"

She hops off the desk to help Thadd set the food, needing something to occupy her hands.

"Thank you. Nothing alcoholic, please?" Hopefully the news won't require anything alcoholic anyway...

"Oh! Uhm, hello, mister L'Orr."

Cyprian turns up with a cheerful smile. "Good... peak? Or is it anti-peak?" He still hadn't figured out Sigil's timekeeping system.

"Is it really a meeting without alcohol?" Whisper asked as he and Hush arrived.

"Yes!!" She squeaks out. "What kind of meetings are you going to!" Now that there are more people Illiam'iira looks her normal self. She makes her way to stand with Ikkit.

"Hi Rian!" The other Clueless still has no clue about time here, either.

Ikkit didn't seem too terribly upset by the guest list thus far, but he still pulled up his hood and found a corner to hide in.

[Fluff stealth roll for hiding is a 29]

Mysti loped into the room, her dark eyes narrowed, the ghost of a frown tugging at the corners of her lips. She paused momentarily to fish out the paper the page had given her. A page from a page. How droll. She decided to keep the stupid play on words to herself. She was no comedienne and had no desire to become one.

She unrolled it -- how she hated dealing with these papers that required two hands to read -- scanned its contents for a moment, looked up, looked down, looked up again, then heaved a sigh that sounded -- resigned.

Mysti took stock of who else was in the room -- not that it mattered. She knew she would find no familiar faces at this table -- and she was spot on accurate with that assumption. Not a person there stood out to her. Until she saw Ikkit in the corner. Mysti's trained eye knew he was hiding there, so instead of giving away his position, she gave him a subtle nod of greeting. At least someone was there that she felt she could trust. Well. Sort of. Maybe.

Once she found a chair as close to the exit as she could find, she unlimbered her longbow and leaned it within easy reach against the wall. Once done, she angrily dropped a bag of -- things -- onto the table followed closely by Mysti herself who slid into her chair with all the poise of a noblewoman. She gave a furtive glance to either side of her, then around the table again to see if she could discern the leader of this ... group. Why was she there? Some annoying stunt orchestrated by her Harmonium commander? Idiot. Why wouldn't he let her do what she was truly good at instead of making ... well, whatever. She was willing to give this a listen.

A minute later, a throwing knife appeared in her hand. She leaned back, balancing the chair on two legs while she idly twirled the knife between her fingers as though it were some sort of nervous tic. She sighed. Again. The rogue had been in the middle of something when the page showed up. She hoped this summons was worth it. Because she had absolutely no clue whatsoever why she was brought here. She was so close to turning in her Harmonium badge and ... well ... she would see. Wouldn't she.
