Akh was relentlessly parsing through her spellbook and personal notes in the journals, trying to collate and make sense of the various murderous and chaotic circumstances she had become aware of lately. She even considered creating a dashboard on the wall, all with pinned pieces of cut paper containing pictures, diagrams and other pieces of information, connected with red strings. She had warned Wife-of-Angyar that someone might be coming for a visit.

Fyne makes his way through the hive to the location that Akh Uur Hoon gave him. He knocks on the door when he arrives, keeping an eye out for anything or anyone that might be doing murder or demoning around.

Alerted to the newcoming, Akh slipped down the ladder from the attic she inhabited to take over Fyne before Angyar would get angry about something. She gestured for him to come in deeper into the house without small talk with the hosts.

He extends a nod to the host but assumes anything more would be unwelcome with the quiet greeting. He simply follows to the attic.

The place was small and austere, barely enough to straighten beneath the central joist, kept clean and tidy but with somewhat heavy air from lit candles and other smells of use as well as the soot from the nearby crematorium that had yellowed the only window. One bedroll and a low desk bending under paperwork.
"There is enough privacy in here for us to talk. You can sit on the bedroll if you like, I'll take the floor."

"I appreciate the offer. I do have to admit, I tried those herbs last night and it was for naught... I didn't sleep at all, and for some reason I don't feel tired at all. Or hungry. Or thirsty. It's the strangest sensation but it also feels like it's not... incorrect."
He moves to sit where directed.

"If your condition is anything like mine, it'd indicate that you have entered undeath. Giving up those basic life functions is usually considered a step closer to True Death, which however carries no immediate threat to the continuity of your existence. I am rather curious whether it were those herbs that turned you, or some other factors."

"I am guessing it wasn't the herbs. This wasn't listed as a possible side effect. But I've had a strange relationship with death since my return from the demiplane of time. Undead creatures sometimes avoid me and I haven't been sick with any diseases since then. It could just be some more effects of my patron like those things," he says with a shrug. "It's a curiosity, but I suspect it won't have a huge impact on my life. It's too early to be sure though."

"Well, it is then likely that you've been dead in some form since arriving in Sigil, and your memory lapse is directly related to it. Your patron?"

"Some time creature. I'm a warlock and my patron is some mystery being that erased my memories after rewriting everything I thought I knew about myself. Also, as soon as we're born we start moving towards dying, except those that find loopholes and just live forever."
